TICKET FOR MATCH STOLEN
Tickets worth 30 Pound for the Springboks versus Maoris match and for the fourth test were stolen from the Manukau Rugby Football Club premises in Rowe Street Onehunga, on Monday or Tuesday night. A drawer in which the tickets were locked was opened, presumably with a skeleton key .
Mr D. Boryer, secretary of the club, said last night that he had no record of the numbers. The tickets for the No. 3 stand and the grandstand enclosure were part of the allotment for the club. Their loss means that about 25 club members will be deprived of seats at the park.
Police inquiries are being made. |
